Understanding Your Access Limits
Learn how credits and API usage apply when accessing premium tools and spreadsheets.
What are Company Credits?
✅ Explanation:
Company Credits are how we manage access to premium company data and tools on Growth With Value.
Each time you view a premium company page — such as company financials, valuation tools, or competitive analysis— one Company Credit is used.
🔍How it works:
- Each pricing plan includes a daily limit of Company Credits.
- Credits reset every 24 hours, so you get a fresh allowance each day.
- Accessing a premium page uses 1 credit per view, regardless of whether it’s the same or a different company.
- Unused credits do not roll over to the next day.
🔢Example:
If you’re on the Investor plan with 30 Company Credits, you can open 30 premium company pages that day. After that, you’ll need to wait until your credits reset the next day.
💡Tip:
Opening a premium company page multiple times in the same day will use additional credits.
To save credits, open key companies in a new browser tab so you can keep referring back without triggering extra views.
What are API Calls?
✅ Explanation:
API Calls are how we manage access to live financial data inside your spreadsheets.
Each time you use one of our templates to pull company or economic data (like revenue, ratios, or inflation data), it uses up a small number of API Calls from your daily allowance.
🔍How it works:
- Every plan includes a daily limit of API Calls.
- API Calls are used each time data is pulled from our database into your spreadsheet.
- Spreadsheet templates are optimised to use very few API calls.
- Your balance resets every 24 hours.
- Unused calls do not roll over to the next day.
🔢Example:
Here’s how API Calls work with our spreadsheet tools:
🧾 Company Analysis Spreadsheet
Uses ~50 API Calls per company
Covers data like financials, ratios, and valuation assumptions used to conduct in-depth analysis
🌐 Market Conditions Spreadsheet
Uses ~50 API Calls on initial load
Adds ~20 API Calls each time you select a new country
Ideal for reviewing general market conditions, macroeconomic indicators, interest rates, inflation, and more
💡Tip:
Calls only count when new data is requested, not when simply viewing a sheet.
